| I saw the advertisement for this in connection with the Nuwave infared oven pro, which I also bought, and thought it would come in handy. I have a small food processer I bought from(a discount store beginning with W)and I figured if I needed something bigger this would be ideal. The owner's manual doesn't have much information and I made ham salad(with boiled ham which is pretty soft)and egg salad and both took longer than the smaller processer I already had. Maybe I'm using the wrong blades, but as I said, the manual doesn't give the information I need for that. I also added the Miricle Whip in with the eggs and still had trouble. I wish they had better instruction included on the use. It works okay, but I still wish they would give me a little more information on the use of each blade. I've been cooking a while; so I know what I'm doing. Nuwave is to blame here. The seller was great and I can't somplain about them. Better check around if you want smooth working kitchen equipment. This also cost three times what the little food processer did at W..-.... so just in case that helps. |

| I own the Nuwave Twister and the Magic Bullet. The Bullet cost more, but it is a better unit and more comes with it. If you cannot afford the Bullet, the Twister will have to do. |
Works for me although I definitely see potential for failure.

I use mine to makes smoothies and that's absolutely all I use it for these days. Bananas, some yogurt, a bit of milk, and some protein supplement are the only ingredients mine ever sees and for that it works. Given the price and what I use it for I'd say it's a good product. Why 3 stars? I tried some other things such as ice cubes, tuna salad, and other random stuff when I first got it and had little success. The material is either simply pushed around or not sufficiently chopped. I'm also not a big fan of the operating mechanism since mine doesn't always like to work with ease but that could just be my unit.
Good daily smoothie maker? Yeah, it's pretty decent for that.
Good all purpose blender? No it sucks, move on in your search. |
Waste of money and electricity

| This piece of junk won't even chop up an apple. The blades are so dull, the apple pieces are just flung to the sides of the container and stick there. It'll mix a drink or chop solids mixed with liquid, but anything called a blender or chopper should do more than just that. There are far more useful standard and handheld blenders that cost the same or less. |
